Ana Luísa Costa were born in Barcelos, Braga, Portugal in 1986. She finished her graduation on Chemistry in 2008 at University of Minho. In 2010, she concluded the Master degree in Medicinal Chemistry in the same university. Then she moved to Coimbra to did her PhD in Chemistry - Specialization Field of Photochemistry (2013-2017) where she developed new organic-inorganic host guest systems to be characterized in the solid state by absorption and fluorescence tecniques. At the present, she is a Researcher at CICECO, University of Aveiro, working on the SASCOT project (Stimuli-Activated Systems for Carbon Monoxide Therapy) where she develop new organic molecules that can act as CO-releasing molecules for carbon monoxide therapeutic applications. Published 11 articles in journals of international reviewed-peers. Participated in 21 event(s). Participates and/or participated as Researcher in 1 project(s).
