Inês Gomes da Silva is currently a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), which she began in March 2023. She is a doctoral fellow supported by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) and is pursuing her doctoral program under the guidance of Professors Isabel Marrucho and Fátima Montemor. Her research focuses on the development of natural electrolytes based on eutectic systems for supercapacitors. Graduated in Engineering Sciences (2020) and Master in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST, 2022), she conducted her master's thesis in collaboration with the University of Tours, France, under the guidance of Professors Isabel Marrucho and Mérièm Anouti. She was also a research fellow supported by FCT from September 2022 to March 2023. She was a Teaching Assistant in Environmental Biological and Chemical Engineering Processes in the Chemical Engineering Department (DEQ, IST). In addition, she is the General Coordinator of the Grupo do Instituto Superior Técnico (GTIST), where she attended the Course of Dramatic Expression (CED, 2018/2019) under the coordination of Sara de Castro. Within the same group, she also held the position of production coordinator from 2020 to 2022 and worked in projects of different directors, namely Pedro Gil, Rui M. Silva and Gaya de Medeiros. She has also worked in cinema as an actress in projects by directors such as Rodrigo Areias, Henrique Linhales Rangel, Adriano Mendes, and Pedro Caldas. In 2024 she joined as a member of "O Canto do Bode", a studio dedicated to research and artistic exploration of acting processes, affiliated with the Centro de Estudos de Teatro at the University of Lisbon.
