Débora Serrenho is a PhD student in the Experimental Biology and Biomedicine Program at the Department of Life Sciences at the CNC-Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, Portugal. Débora's PhD work is supervised by Ana Luísa Carvalho at the University of Coimbra and her project includes a collaboration with the laboratory of Inbal Israely Lab at the Columbia University, USA, where Débora stayed for 1 year. In her PhD, Débora Serrenho is interested in studying the neuronal mechanisms of learning and memory both in physiological and pathological conditions.
