Bruno Almeida is an Invited Associate Professor at NOVA FCSH since 2024. He works at the Centre for Digital Development of Research of the Division of Informatics of NOVA FCSH since April 2022. He was a research fellow at ROSSIO Infrastructure - Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities (2020-2022). He is an integrated researcher of the Linguistics Centre of NOVA FCSH (NOVA CLUNL) since 2019. He completed a Dual Degree PhD Programme between Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Communauté Université Grenoble Alpes in September 2019 (Doctor in Linguistics by NOVA; Doctor in Information and Communication Sciences by COMUE UGA). He had a Student Fellowship in the context of the FCT PhD Programme KRUse - Knowledge, Representation and Use - of NOVA FCSH (2014-2018). He completed a Master's in Information and Documentation Sciences in April 2010 by NOVA FCSH and a Bachelor's in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies in September 2007 by NOVA FCSH. His research interests include linguistics and information science, especially terminology, knowledge organisation and digital humanities. Other domains of interest include library science, special library collections and library management systems.
