Rui Rebelo has a PhD in Biology (Ecology e Biossistematics, 2002) and a Degree in Biology (Zoology, 1993) by Universidade de Lisboa/Faculdade de Ciências. He is Associate Professor, Director of the Animal Facility and member of the following committees/boards in Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências: Executive committee of Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes, ORBEA-FCUL (animal welfare) and scientific committee of the master course Conservation Biology.
