Catarina Bettencourt is a licensed Psychologist and a collaborative member of the Neuropsychological Assessment and Intervention(NAI) group at the Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Behavioural Intervention (CINEICC) since 2020. CB is also a member of the Laboratory of Chronopsychology and Cognitive Systems (ChronCog), University of Coimbra, Portugal. CB is pursuing a PhD in Neuropsychology at the University of Coimbra (FPCE-UC) on the topic "The influence of time-of-day and morningness-eveningness in cognitive performance of children and adolescents: Clarifying synchrony and asynchrony effects", integrated into the Project "TRUE TIMES - Morningness-eveningness and time-of-day effects on cognitive performances and emotional states: New lessons from children and adolescents' [PTDC/PSI-ESP/32581/2017; CENTRO-01-0145-FEDER-032581], coordinated by Professor Ana Allen Gomes and developed at FPCE-UC and CINEICC. CB's PhD is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). Between September 2019 and February 2021, CB was a research assistant at CINEICC in the TRUE TIMES Project. CB completed her Master's Degree in Psychology (Clinic and Health Psychology - Clinical Geropsychology) in 2018. CB was co-responsible for the neuropsychological assessment component of a multicenter international research project funded by Horizon 2020 (n. 847749), "Retinal and Cognitive Dysfunction in Type 2 Diabetes: Unraveling the common pathways and identification of patients at risk of Dementia (RECOGNISED)", conducted in Portugal at the Association for Biomedical Research and Innovation in Light and Image (AIBILI) and coordinated by the Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca (Spain). CB also tutors students from the 1st and 2nd cycle of the Integrated Master's Degree in Psychology in research curricular units at FPCE-UC. CB has published as a first-author in an international journal with peer-review on the time of day and chronotype effects on adolescents' emotional states.
