Member of the Evaluation Panel of Agricultural and Food Technologies, 2018, 2019 and 2020 FCT Call for PhD Scholarships. Reader-evaluator for 2019, 2020 and 2022 OIV Awards. Evaluator of R&D projects submitted to the Incentive System for Research and Technological Development (ANI). Member of the sensory experts panel of a certifying entity (Comissão Vitivinícola Regional de Lisboa). Co-Coordinator of the Expert Groups of Analytical Methods, and member of Enology Group, OIV Portuguese Commission (CNOIV). Member of the Direction of the Portuguese Oenology Society (2004-2012), currently responsible for Enology of the Coordinator Council of Professional Activities of this society. Since 2018, board member of Associação dos Laboratórios de Enologia (ALABE). Member of the Technical Commission of Union Internationale des ¿nologues (UIOE). Combines a research background in Enology with deep understanding of the issues facing grape and wine producers.
