C Brígido was a visiting researcher at University of Salamanca, Spain (as Ph.D. student) and University of Waterloo, Canada (as post-doc), totaling 8 months. During her career, C. Brígido participated, as fellow or researcher, in 13 scientific projects (1 as Principal Investigator (PI)) from national and international funding within competitive calls, and in other 6 scientific exploratory projects (1 as PI) from internal institutional funds (UE-MED/ICAAM). C. Brígido is author/co-author of 26 peer-reviewed papers and 7 book chapters (1 in press) with international circulation within different scientific areas, namely agrarian sciences, microbial ecology, applied microbiology and biotechnology and 1 edited Abstract Book. Supervised 1 PhD student (ongoing) and an external Ph.D. student (3 months internship), 3 MSc and 16 BSc theses (3 ongoing), 2 post-doctoral and 3 Master fellowships. C. Brígido participated in national and international meetings accounting for 43 oral and 34 poster communications, 1 Proceedings paper. She participated in the Organization of Scientific Meetings (2) and Training Actions (3) and in other outreach activities (5). C Brígido acted as jury member of national and international academic degrees (4 PhD, 5 MSc, 11 BSc) and on evaluation of R&D projects grants (South Africa, Israel) and PhD projects. She has high activity as reviewer and editor of Special Issues and Research Topics for several international peer-reviewed journals. C Brígido was also involved in scientific and mentoring activities for the development of national and European patents (2 patents in evaluation). C. Brígido is a multidisciplinary researcher, with high experience in biotechnology, microbiology and molecular biology techniques, next generation sequencing, confocal microscopy and plant growth trials, allowing to study plant-microbe interactions in depth.
