Guido R. Lopes (Bsc (2009)/ Msc (2012), Biotechnology, University of Aveiro) concluded the Doctorate in Food Science and Technology and Nutrition (SFRH/BD/104855/2014, University of Minho, University of Aveiro, Universidade Católica Portuguesa) in 2019. Currently, he develops his scientific work at CATAA - Centro de Apoio Tecnológico Agro-Alimentar, a scientific/technological hub to support agro-industries (quality, innovation and development). His research focuses mainly on foods aiming its in-depth characterization and the modulation/optimization of different extraction processes (microwave-assisted extraction, enzymatic hydrolysis) in view of compounds/foods valuation. He published 15 articles (h-index = 7, >150 citations), and presented, as first author, oral (6), poster (10) and proceedings (3) communications in national and international meetings, as well as dissemination magazines (2). He's author/co-author of communication awards/prizes (4).
