My research is focused on multifunctional ceramics, electroactive polymers, piezoelectric materials, magnetoelectric composites and battery separators. I am interested in the development of new smart and multifunctional materials for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) in aircraft, printed electronics and related technologies and their application in smart devices and wearables.
