Organic chemistry | Medicinal chemistry | Toxicology Sara got her Bachelor's (2016) and Master's (2018) degree in Chemistry from Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. She got her PhD (2024) in Sustainable Chemistry from Faculty of Science, University of Porto. All the academic and professional career was focused in the areas of Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry. It is worth noting the receipt of a prize related to Organic Chemistry, which served as recognition of all the dedication to this area of chemistry. She was always interested in finding new therapies related to Neurodegenerative diseases.
