Diana Guardado has more than 10 years of experience managing innovation research projects in the area of eHealth, Active and Assisted Living and Quality of Life, writing and coordinating innovation proposals submissions (H2020, AAL, EIT Health, Erasmus+, Portuguese National funding and prizes). During her professional career, she was involved in more than 40 innovation projects, including Technology Transfer processes and services on applied research. She has a Degree (Pre-Bologna) and a Continuity MSc in Visual Information Technologies from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra. She was member of the coordinating group for Ageing@Coimbra, 4 stars reference site of the European Innovation Partnership of Active and Healthy Ageing and also coordinator member of the Portuguese SHAFE network. Diana Guardado is strategy mentor in several European health entrepreneurship and innovation contests (mainly EIT Health funded contests) and was member of the AAL Forum 2017 organizing committee, the largest event at European level within the scope of AAL (Active and Assisted Living) whose main objective is to expose and publicize existing solutions (products and services) in the area of ICT that promote active and assisted ageing.

2018 - 2018 Increasing health literacy was the main objective of the first edition of “Praça da Saúde” that was installed, on November 23, 2018, at the Rectory of the University of Porto and surrounding areas.
