Rita Santos holds a PhD in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms (Universities of Aveiro and Porto). Professor at Department of Communication and Art, University of Aveiro, she has been involved in supervision activities of MSc. and PhD students and has a vast experience in the supervision of several bachelor’s ICT projects following a Project-Based Learning methodology, often in articulation with real clients (companies, researchers). As a member of DigiMedia - Digital Media and Interaction Research Centre, she has participated in several research projects in activities related with the conceptualization, prototyping and evaluation of new digital user-centric products and services. Her research interests are related with the design of digital solutions to promote quality of life, well-being and environmental awareness.
