Luis Agnelo de Almeida is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (specialization in computers and electronics) and an Electrical Engineering degree (specialization in computers) from the University of Coimbra (UC). He is a researcher at the Smart Cities Research Center (Ci2 - IPT) and the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR - UC). His main scientific interests are Computer Vision, Robotics, Telepresence, Teleoperation, Immersive Interfaces, 3D Reconstruction, Augmented Reality, and Computer Graphics.
