Isabel Cansado is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Évora University. She bases her research on environmental improvement, through the valorization of a diversity of solid wastes, mainly inorganic polymers and bioresidues, by converting them into carbon materials for application in areas that include the treatment of gaseous and liquid effluents.
