PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at the University of Beira Interior – UBI, in Portugal (current). Specialist with a post-graduate degree in Hydrology and Climatology with a focus in ‘special’ mineral waters, specifically linked to Hydrological and Environmental Engineering and Hydrogeochemistry, from University of Beira Interior – UBI, in Portugal (2023). Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with a focus on protecting water resources and groundwater vulnerability from University of Beira Interior – UBI, in Portugal (2020). Graduated in Geotechnical and Geoenvironment Engineering at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto – ISEP, in Portugal (2010). She trained in the CE marking of quarry crushed aggregates after completing his degree. She began teaching Work health and safety (WHS) in 2010, and she has since provided elementary, secondary, and higher education with natural science explanations. Since 2021, she has collaborated with the GeoBioTec-UBI research unit at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), sponsored by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), to do research on geoenvironmental engineering and groundwater vulnerability. She presented two papers at an international conference and published three articles in addition to his master's thesis. She has also been involved in teaching the "GIS in Environmental Impact Assessment" and "Application of GIS in Geotechnical Cartography" modules for the University of Beira Interior's (UBI) master's degree in geographic information systems since 2022. Between 2022 and 2004, she worked as a geotechnical engineer on the railway, supervising the slope stabilisation, as well as earthworks. She works as a Senior Technician at the Guarda Municipality's Department of Environment. It monitors water use in urban green spaces, develops data and GIS analyses for decision-making, conducts groundwater abstraction research, and contributes to the preservation of the municipality's natural heritage.
