Mina Tadros is a highly motivated and efficient Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with five years of strong academic preparation. He has more than ten years' experience combining work experience with academic teaching and research in the engineering field and enrolling in several research projects. After graduating 2nd/51 colleagues from the naval architecture and marine engineering (NAME) department in Egypt, he got his MSc degree by developing a framework and carrying a cost analysis of the ship recycling industry in Egypt using the fuzzy logic approach. During that period, he worked as a teaching assistant (TA) in the same department and as an instructor in other organizations. He took part in involved in the tender process and designed several small ships. As an educator in both public and private institutions with diverse student demographics, he made an explicit effort in his courses to bring intersectional discussions through classroom dialogues and group projects. Leverage a wide range of course books, materials, and tools/software to provide course instruction to students in higher education environments. He was updating the course materials, syllabus, and curriculum with the responsible professor according to the needs. He is recently a researcher in CENTEC, ranked fifth in the Marine and Ocean Engineering area of the Shanghai Worldwide Ranking of Universities of 2019. He is working in a multicultural environment to increase the energy efficiency in ships by following the guidelines of the international regulations. He developed an optimization tool allowing the simulation and optimization of different marine systems for design and operational purposes to minimize fuel consumption and exhaust emissions and ensure the systems' safety. This numerical environment is based on optimization procedures and machine learning techniques coupling several simulation software. Based on his research, Mina published multiple articles in international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and conferences. He received his PhD degree in the same field from the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) in Portugal with distinction in 2020.
