Cláudia Sofia Pires Godinho completed the Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology and Biosciences in July 2018 from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. She is since November 2018 a post-doc researcher, first on the ERA-IB/16/2013 project YEASTPEC (Engineering of the yeast S. cerevisiae for bioconversion of pectin-containing agro-industrial side-streams) for 2 years and since November 2020 on the BIODATA project from BioData.pt consortium (https://www.biodata.pt/about). Cláudia has been working in the context of several national and international research projects with deep international networking since 2011 whe she was a MSc student, including the ERA-IB project INTACT (INTegral engineering of ACetic acid Tolerance in yeast). Cláudia has published 11 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 1 book chapter and participated in several national and international meetings for result presentation. Cláudia P. Godinho supervised 1 MSc dissertation, co-supervised 1 international MSc thesis student, guided laboratory pratice for several PhD and MSc students, and took part in several juries of MSc degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Biological Engineering. Cláudia P. Godinho has also demonstrated deep involvement in science communication, both by volunteer projects with FEMS (including the social management of the International Microorganism Day since the 2019 edition, the now-extinct FEMS Wikipedia taskforce and the FEMS translation team), and individual programs for scientific teaching and mentouring of children with outstanding learning abilities (https://www.treetree2.org/) where Claudia is the coordinator in the Molecular Biology and Genetics field. Cláudia P. Godinho is currently taking the Professional Course in Data Science directed by Harvard University and has demonstrated programming abilities in Python and SQL. In her CV the most frequent terms are: multidrug/multixenobiotic resistance; Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology; physiological genomics; Saccharomyces cerevisiae; Arabidopsis thaliana; plasma membrane transporters; heterologous expression; strain robustness and science comunication.
