Ariana Maciel Abranches Pintor. Concluiu o Doutoramento em Engenharia do Ambiente em 2014 e o Mestrado Integrado em Engenharia do Ambiente em 2010 pela Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Após um pós-doutoramento na mesma instituição de 2017 a 2019, é, desde Junho de 2019, Investigadora na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, trabalhando no tópico "Advancing water and wastewater treatment using cork-based materials". Publicou 24 artigos em revistas especializadas (índice h=16) e tem uma patente submetida. Tem experiência na orientação de novos investigadores, orientando atualmente 1 tese de doutoramento e 1 estagiário de investigação. Obtained her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2014 and the Integrated Masters in Environmental Engineering in 2010 by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto. After a postdoctoral fellowship in the same institution between 2017 and 2019, she is, since June 2019, Junior Researcher at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, working in the topic "Advancing water and wastewater treatment using cork-based materials". She has published 24 articles in international peer-reviewed journals (h-index=16) and has submitted a patent. She has experience in supervising new researchers, and currently supervises 1 PhD student and 1 Research Trainee. Her expertise is in the area of Engineering and Technology with a focus on Environmental Engineering and Materials Engineering.
