Coordinates the Physiotherapy Pedagogical Clinic of Escola Superior de Saúde Fernando Pessoa (2022 – today). Research interest in occupational health (including musculoskeletal disorders and mental health of physiotherapists), in the assessment of the neuromusculoskeletal system focusing on physiology and biomechanics, and diabetes. Has been an invited speaker in 26 events and has authored or co-authored 58 oral communications and 21 scientific posters presented in peer-reviewed events. Has authored or co-authored 69 research articles, published in international peer-reviewed journals, 26 book chapters, published by international publishers and 38 abstracts/full papers in scientifically refereed events. Since 2014 has reviewed over 100 articles submitted to scientific journals and has acted as abstract reviewer for 26 international conferences. Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Health and Biomedical Sciences and Athena – Health & Research Journal and Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Diabetes Research, International Journal of Clinical Practice and Rehabilitation Research and Practice and Thermology International.
