Ana Rita O. Rodrigues, PhD in Physics is Invited Professor at University of Minho (Department of Physics, School of Sciences) and Senior Researcher at SOLFARCOS (Soluções Farmacêuticas e Cosméticas, Lda). Experience in Supervision: 1 PhD on-going; 6 MSc. theses and 3 undergraduate projects. In 2018, Co-founder of SPM Nanosolutions, a spin-off company recognized with several Prizes/Distinctions. Throughout academic training, invested in the research fields of molecular physics, photophysics and biophysics, with research expertise in magnetic and plasmonic nanoparticles and lipid-based nanosystems for cancer treatment. Since 2022, research interest include study of new innovative formulations for hair care and skin care. Research activities resulted in 4 book chapter, 1 patent submitted (granted in Portugal No. 115474 and a PCT ongoing PCT/IB2020/05397) and 36 ISI/Scopus publications, with 462 citations and h-index of 13 (Scopus). Scientific work was disseminated in national (14) and international (11) conferences, as well in seminars, news (ASPIC site) and in radio (90 Segundos de Ciência) and TV (Next Big Idea) programs.
