Ana Mendes-Frias (AMF) completed Master degree in Clinical Analysis in 2016/07 by University of Coimbra and Licenciatura in Biochemistry in 2014/07 by University of Coimbra. After the Master degree, she joined Labialfarma (Filgueira, Viseu) wher she worked in the quality control department. In 2018, AMF joined ICVS -University of Minho to attend the PhD in Health Sciences. To conclude her PhD she won 2 PhD fellowships, one from the School of Medicine of University of Minho and the other from FCT. During her PhD, AMF published 15 articles in peer-reviewed journals, participated in 7 event, co-supervised 3 works of course completion of LSc/BSc. She participated in several paralel projects within the research group. AMF works in the area of Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on Health Sciences.
