Ana Henriques. She has a doctorate in Mathematics Education by the University of Lisbon and is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon (IEUL). At the IEUL, she has taught in higher education and in pre-service and in- service teacher education, is a coordinator teacher of several courses on the Teacher Education master program and has supervised several doctoral and master's theses, including in the context of the Erasmus programme. In professional activities she has interacted with 15 national and international collaborators, as co-authorship of scientific works. Her research carried out in the context of several R&D projects in the area of Mathematics Didactics and Mathematics Teacher Education, as a member of the Education Research and Development Unit (UIDEF), such as FteLab, Educate and Reason, has focused on Mathematical Reasoning, Teaching and Learning of Mathematics with Technology, Knowledge and Professional Development of Teachers, particularly in Statistics and, more recently, in STEAM education. So, she is the author of an extensive bibliography, edited in Portugal and internationally. She is also an active member of several national and international scientific organisations (e.g. SPIEM, CERME, ICMI, ISI, PME), presenting her research work at their meetings and being part of the organising and scientific committees, and collaborating significantly with the research community in mathematics education, as part of the reviewers body of several national and international indexed journals.
