Degree in Applied Biology (2006) and a PhD in Health Science (2011) from the University of Minho, Portugal. After finishing the PhD in the oncobiology field, I was a full-time Associate Professor at the Medicine Faculty of Barretos, Brazil (2012), where I did a voluntary Post-Doc at the Molecular Oncology Research Center, being still a collaborative researcher of the Pre-clinical Oncology Research Group. I was also a Teacher and Supervisor (2013-2016) in the post-graduation program in Oncology (Master's and PhD) at Barretos Cancer Hospital. Backing in Portugal (2013) to the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), University of Minho, where I did my graduation and PhD, I received two Postdoctoral Fellowships, two Junior and two Auxiliary Researcher contracts in the oncobiology field. Since September 2023, I have been an affiliated researcher with the BitCancer Team at ICVS, School of Medicine University of Minho.
