Joana Neto obtained her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the prestigious École Pratique des Hautes Études in France and her Post-Doctorate in Psychology from the Catholic University of Brasilia, Brazil. She holds a degree in Economics and a Master's in Social Economics from the Católica Porto Business School of the Catholic University. She also received a Master's degree in Economics and Human Resources Management from the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto. She is currently Invited Assistant Professor in Universidade Portucalense Infante D Henrique. Her research interests include Cognitive Psychology and Decision-making, Cross-cultural Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business Ethics, and Corporate Social Responsibility, including methodologies for implementation, monitoring, and impact assessment of social intervention programs. Published 30 articles in journals. Has 5 sections of books and 2 book(s) and participated in international R&D projects. In addition to her academic career, she has been developing social innovation projects in homelessness and, more recently, in the field of geropsychology.
