Andreia Cerqueira graduated in Biology (2014) at the University of Aveiro (UA; Portugal). In 2016, Andreia enrolled in the MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the same institution. During her studies, she worked at Microlab (UA) and did a research stay at the University of Valladolid (Spain). In 2022, she finished her international PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Health at Jaume I University (Spain) under the Santiago Grisolía Program (Generalitat Valenciana). During this period, Andreia did a stay at the Institut für Metallische Biomaterialien (Germany). Andreia also participated as a researcher in national projects and collaborations with companies to develop surfaces that improve soft and hard tissue regeneration.
