Bernardo Pereira de Bastos is an accomplished hospitality management professional. He holds two degrees in Hospitality Management, including a 1st Technology Specialization in Hospitality Management - Food & Beverage from Portuguese Tourism Schools in Porto, and a degree in Hospitality Management from Universidade Europeia, Lisbon. Mr. de Bastos has also completed a Master's degree in Management and Business Strategy from Universidade Europeia, Lisbon and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Management, specializing in Hospitality Analytic Systems, also at Universidade Europeia. Bernardo de Bastos has gained valuable work experience through his positions at several companies. He worked for three years in management positions at Vila Galé, Ericeira, and Estoril, which is the second-largest hotel chain in Portugal. Additionally, he has worked in luxury hotels such as VilaLara and Hotel Ritz Four Seasons. Furthermore, he worked as a Revenue Manager at AL - A Casas das Casas, a tour operator that manages 40 properties for short-term rentals, and continues to renew and implement their strategy, concerning the hospitality sector, is also a consultant for Planning and Projects Management at Trompete Bar, an historical bar. In addition to his hospitality experience, has also worked in the commercial and supply chain management fields. He served as a Commercial Director and Supply Chain Manager, including the role of Planning and Report Manager, at Jodel, Lisbon, the biggest chemical products company in the Iberian Peninsula. Currently, oversees Planning and Management at Mesosystem, Porto, where he is involved in European and National research and investment projects. Bernardo de Bastos is also an accomplished academic, having taught several classes at both Universidade Europeia and ISEC Lisboa. These classes cover a range of subjects, including Revenue Management, Applied TIC on Hospitality, Events Management, and F&B Management. de Bastos, B. has also published three works, including his master's thesis and two scientific articles, and has presented two scientific articles in international conferences.
