Foteini Roumani obtained her MSc in Food Safety by Wageningen University and Research (2018) and her BSc in Chemistry from then National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2016). She is a Junior Research Fellow in the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory working in the detection of spoilage microorganisms using fast molecular biology based techniques. She has good analytical, reporting and communication skills and she is enthusiastic, results orientated and self-motivated. Her main interests lying in pursuing research in food safety related areas with a special interest in food microbiology and molecular biology specifically in the detection of spoilage fungi.
