Ana Valente obtained her BSc degree in Biotechnology from the University of Aveiro in 2018. In 2020, Ana Valente completed her MSc in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Aveiro. During the MSc, Ana Valente gathered knowledge in the development of sustainable extraction/purification platforms (using both solid-liquid and liquid-liquid systems) of proteins. Since the beginning of her MSc, Ana Valente published 2 articles (one as 1st author) and 1 article, as 1st author, is under preparation for publication (already submitted), and 1 book chapter. Furthermore, Ana Valente participated in several national and international meetings, contributing with poster and oral communications. Nowadays, Ana Valente is PhD Student in the field of Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biotech Engineering at Aveiro University.
