Inês completed her PhD in Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences at FCT NOVA in 2021, having over a decade of robust experience in multidisciplinary research and development projects spanning Materials Engineering, Nanotechnologies, and Nanoscience domains. Her notable achievements include serving as the team manager for prestigious initiatives such as the European Commission H2020 EMERGE project, the national "Recovery and Resilience Plan" (PRR) From Fossil to Forest, the European REFORM project, and her current involvement in the ongoing ENACT project. Currently, Inês assumes the role of Business Development Manager at INOV, specializing in Information and Communications Technology & Electronics. She navigates through diverse responsibilities, relying on strategic insight, relationship-building, and a commitment to excellence in project development and management. Her primary objective is to support all strategic areas by identifying funding opportunities and cultivating potential partnerships, thereby enriching INOV's network and enhancing project prospects. Beyond her core duties, Inês actively explores new markets, exercises foresight, and seeks innovative solutions to tackle emerging challenges. This proactive approach ensures that INOV remains at the forefront of industry trends, enabling INOV to seize emerging opportunities and drive sustainable growth. Furthermore, Inês holds a rich academic portfolio, co-authoring 18 scientific papers (including 4 as the first author) published in high-impact journals, with presentations at 15 national and international conferences, garnering 4 awards. She also played a crucial role in guiding the research activities of 12 master students during their thesis projects and contributed to two inspiring initiatives: HiseedTech 2018 and the International Physics Olympiad competition 2018.

These devices were used for the experimental test, which involved more than 400 high school students from around the world, who share the passion for physics I was also part of the evaluation panel of the experimental tests This work was highlighted in the editorial of Nature Electronics with the title "A lesson on paper".
