Carlos Junior Arias Hernandez

Carlos Junior Arias Hernandez is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Coimbra and a research fellow at the Center for industrial ecology/ADAI-LAETA. He is currently performing a research on ecodesign of plastic products to improve their life cycle performance, integrating Life Cycle Assessment & Costing, Multi Criteria Decision Analysis and uncertainty analysis. He holds a master's degree in Energy for Sustainability from the University de Coimbra and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Industrial University of Santander (Bucaramanga, Colombia). Previous experiences include a research internship at the State University of Campinas (Campinas, Brazil) in biomass kinetics and thermogravimetric analysis.
