Silviu Miloiu is Professor and Ph.D. advisor in history of international relations, contemporary history, Baltic Sea Region and Romanian foreign policy (University of Targoviste). His research focuses on the history of Romanian foreign policy in the 20th and 21st centuries, Romania’s relations with Britain, the Baltic and Nordic countries, and the history of minorities in East Central. He has been leading international research projects with publications, Europe viewed from the margins: a Central European perspective of the 19th and 20th centuries and Utopia versus realism in Romania’s foreign policy. He is the chair of the Romanian Association of Baltic and Nordic Studies and editor-in-chief of its periodical mouthpiece, the Romanian Journal for Baltic and Nordic Studies.
