MSc in Neurosciences, currently working as a Research Collaborator at the Center for Genomic Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital & Harvard Medical School, in a lab dedicated to the study of repeat expansion diseases. My current project explores molecular patterns associated with neurological disorders, within the broader context of genomic medicine. Previously, I worked at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology in Coimbra on a project investigating potential links between circadian rhythms and dementia, through clinical and molecular parameters. I also collaborated on translational research in neuroinflammation and epilepsy at the Institute of Molecular Medicine in Lisbon. My academic background includes complementary training in artificial intelligence and clinical cognition. I'm also an advocate of organization and process optimization, often finding creative ways to enhance efficiency. I believe a well-organized and clean work environment is essential for productive research. I'm excited to put my skills and knowledge to good use, making a meaningful contribution to the field of translational biomedicine.
