Dani¿l Filipe Miranda Mendanha, born on May 10th in Braga, Portugal, is a researcher in biotechnology. He earned a Bachelor's in Applied Biology in 2014 and a Master's in Health Sciences in 2016 from the University of Minho, with a focus on glioblastoma research. He increased his expertise by completing a laboratory animal science course, which granted him a FELASA category C certification. In September 2018, he was awarded a PhD scholarship from the FCT to enroll in the Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, and Stem Cells Doctoral Program. In 2024, he obtained a PhD degree from the 3B’s Research Group at the University of Minho, focusing on the development of new drug delivery systems for glioblastoma therapy. Currently, Daniel is working at CITEVE, Portugal, in the Chemistry and Biotechnology Department, researching new bioproducts for technical textile applications. To this date, his track record of innovation and research includes 4 first-author peer-reviewed original papers. During his short career, he has also attended several international meetings, giving one oral presentation, and presenting seven poster communications.
