Márcio Navalho, MD, PhD, concluded a Degree in Medicine at Lisbon School of Medicine in 2000 and a Doctorate Degree at the same School in 2012. Specialist in Radiology since 2008, with Residency held at University Hospital of Santa Maria he was also a Clinical Fellow at UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine, Los Angeles, USA and at Hôpital Cochin, Paris, France. In 2018 he attained the Consultant Degree in Radiology by the Portuguese Medical Board. Previous Researcher at IMM and Professor at Lisbon School of Medicine with participation in several disciplines and previous Professor at Universidade Atlântica. He was also Director of the Radiology Units in Lisbon of Trofa Saúde Group. He is at the present time Chair of the Discipline Medicine 4.0 at Nova Medical School and Researcher of the Comprehensive Health Research Center, in the research groups of Musculoskeletal and Health Innovation. Also, Chief Executive Officer of the Teleradiology Company Centro de Telemedicina. He published 15 papers indexed in PubMed/Medline. He is PI on 2 ongoing research projects, and he is supervising one PhD student and one Master student. He also acts as reviewer and member of the editorial board of International Scientific Journals. His main research interests are related with Clinical Medicine and Technology and Innovation applied to Health, in the specific fields of Radiology, Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal and Sports Pathology.
