I completed the BSc in Biochemistry (15 out of 20) in 2017 at the University of Minho, School of Sciences, andthe MSc in Biotechnology (18 out of 20) in 2019 at the University of Minho, Department of BiologicalEngineering. Shortly after completing the MSc, I worked in collaboration with the company Terra Nostra (Açores) and became an assistant researcher at the Centre of Biological Engineering (CEB). I also had theopportunity to work with a company in collaboration with CEB. Currently, I am finishing my Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Minho with a Ph.D. scholarship funded by FCT. My research work has always been focused on the search for natural products with equal or superior capabilitiesto conventional ones, seeking to offer a greener and improved alternative to society. I work mainly in theIndustrial Biotechnology area. I published 3 articles in scientific journals and 1 book chapter (co-author). I have also been involved in the organization of 4 events for science communication and participated in 14 scientific events, where I presented my work in poster communications in national and international scientific congresses. Now that I am finishing my PhD, I am seeking a position that can fulfill my interest and develop new capabilities.
