BSc in Genetics and Biotechnology by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro in 2020. MSc in Clinical Laboratory Genetics by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra (FMUC) in 2022. Research fellow in the scope of the project X-EPIFERTILITY - Investigating the impact of epigenetics associated with the X chromosome on female infertility (EXPL/BIA-REP/0423/2021) in (2023) . During my academic career, I became very interested in the application of molecular genetic methodologies in clinical diagnosiss, particularly focused on female infertility. Currently, I am developing my PhD project at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, focusing on Primary Ovarian Insufficiency.

2022/04/18 - 2022/04/26 Funded scientific exchange, carried out within the scope of the project MINDDS, designed for patients with rare neurodevelopment diseases (NDDS) with CNVs. During this internship, supervised by Dr. Friederike Ehrhart, I had the opportunity to learn how to use bioinformatics tools like PathVisio, Cytoscape, as well several databases such as WikiPathways, Human Protein atlas, String, Uniprot, NCBI and Ensemble.
