Diana Ferreira, completed the MSc in Biomedical Engineering, more specifically in the field of Medical Informatics, in 2018/09/24 at the University of Minho. She is an ambitious and devoted PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering Program since 2020/09/01 and integrates the research team of the ALGORITMI Research Centre of the University of Minho, more specifically the Knowledge Engineering Group (KEG), where she analyses, develops, implements, and maintains valid and robust solutions to biomedical problems, particularly in healthcare, in order to improve the experience and work of health professionals as well as the quality of life of patients. In addition, she is an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Minho. She participates and/or participated as a Research Fellow in 4 projects, two of which are the result of the partnership between Bosch and the University of Minho within the INNOVATIVE Car HMI project, one is European project called DRIVES - Development and Research on Innovative Vocational Educational Skills, and the I&D Be.Neutral-Agenda de Mobilidade para a neutralidade carbónica nas cidades. Moreover, she had a PhD Student Fellow granted by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). In addition, she presents a huge interest and enthusiasm for Engineering Sciences and Technologies with emphasis on Biomedical Engineering. She published 9 articles in journals, 12 section(s) of books, and 3 book(s), and participated in the organization of 1 conference. She attended 2 artificial intelligence summer schools.
