Rui Ferreira got a Master Degree (MSc) in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP) in 2012. In 2017, he finished his PhD on Chemical and Biological Engineering, also at FEUP. Rui is currently a PhD researcher at the Transport Phenomena Research Center (CEFT). His research activities are mostly focused on PEM fuel cells and electrolyzers, where he has experience in their design and experimental characterization as well as in the development of computational fluids dynamics (CFD) models. Rui published 13 articles in international journals and 2 book chapters, organized 3 events, co-supervised 1 PhD thesis, supervised 3 MSc dissertations e co-supervised 2. He participates and/or participated in 10 research projects. Rui has also been collaborating, since 2014, in faculty teaching activities, as an invited assistant/professor at FEUP, in the disciplines of Fluids Mechanics and Transport Phenomena from the Bioengineering course.
