Caroline Maria Bezerra de Araujo completed the PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2022/08/25 by the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco Centro de Tecnologia e Geociências-Escola de Engenharia de Pernambuco, Master in Chemical Engineering in 2018/02/28 by Universidade Federal de Pernambuco Centro de Tecnologia e Geociências-Escola de Engenharia de Pernambuco and Bachelor in Chemical Engineering in 2015/07/15 by Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. She did her first Postdoc research at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto (Portugal) funded by then Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) from 2022 to 2023. At the moment, she has joined the project NGS – New Generation Storage at Centro de Química (Universidade do Minho), and has published over 20 articles in journals, and 1 book chapter. Participated in 4 events, Co-supervising 1 MSc dissertation at UFPE, Brazil; and is currently Co-supervising 1 PhD student (UFPE, Brazil). She has received 3 awards, in which the mos recent one was awarded by the 3M company, which nominated her as one of the 25 Women in Science: Latin America 2022. She works in the areas of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Chemical Engineering with emphasis on Chemical Process Engineering, Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Nano-technology with emphasis on Nano-materials and Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Environmental Engineering.
