I am a MSc in Engenharia Biomédica from Universidade Nova de Lisboa since December 2017. Since then, I have been a Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), collaborating with the Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares (C2TN) and Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear (IPFN). My main areas of work are Physical Sciences, mainly the subarea of Medical and Biological Physics, and Medical Engineering. Furthermore, I have acquired knowledge and skills in dosimetry, radiological protection and safety, medical physics, Monte Carlo methods and radiation inspection/monitoring. I have participated in 2 projects both at national and international level. Throughout my career I have authored 5 articles in peer-reviewed journals (3 as a first author). I participated in several scientific conferences and events and presented my work both in poster and oral format. Moreover, I'm a creative and highly motivated researcher. I envisage to investigate and contribute towards the advance of individualized and avant-garde radiation therapy techniques.
