I volunteer in the Cancer and Immunity laboratory of ABC-RI, Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Science at the University of Algarve. I obtained my master's degree in "Oncobiology- Molecular Mechanisms of Cancer" (overall score of 17) in 2024. I have an undergrad in Biomedical Science (overall score of 13) from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Science, University of Algarve since 2022. I developed my Master thesis under the supervision of Prfª Drª. Mónica Teotónio Fernandes and Prf Dr. José Bragança, entitled "Unveiling a potential role for CITED2 in Glioblastoma Biology" with a classification of 19. During the development of my master thesis, I gained experience in methods of: molecular biology like RT-qPCR, and cell culture like functional assays. I also did a bibliographic project in my undergrad under the supervision of Prfª Drª. Maria Leonor Faleiro, entitled "O papel da microbiota intestinal no cancro colorretal", with a classification of 17. I have been disseminating my research by presenting a poster in an international congress as an author and, to enrich my scientific knowledge, I participated in a conference and published an article as a co-author.
