Paulo Jorge Brochado Soares

Paulo Soares received MSc in Civil Engineering in 2018 from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto. During the MSc, he became a member of several associations, that provide him a set of valuable soft skills. After completing the MSc In Civil Engineering, he started his professional activity as a researcher at CONSTRUCT at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, where he has developed skills and deepened knowledge in the field of sound and vibrations. During this time working as a researcher, on the NVTRail project, he developed a hybrid methodology to predict vibrations and reradiated noise inside buildings near railway lines. In 2019, he started the Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, devoted to the development of a hybrid stochastic approach and uncertainty source identification for railway-induced re-radiated noise in buildings.
