Eduardo Filipe Rodrigues Miguel Ferreira

My name is Eduardo Filipe Rodrigues Miguel Ferreira and I am currently an integrated researcher with a PhD at the Center for History of the University of Lisbon. My master's degree was done in the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Military History with a dissertation named «Fortify the Nile. The Egyptian military occupation of Nubia in the 12th dynasty (1980-1790 BC)» and my PhD was in Ancient History with a thesis denominated «War chariots of the Pre-Classical Antiquity. Comparative Typologies (c. 2500 - c. 608 BC)». Before this stages, my academic journey started when I entered the degree in Archeology in 2009, where throughout the process I obtained extensive knowledge from Prehistory to the Roman period. More recently, in Octorber 25th of 2022, I finished a Masters in Teaching History (7-12) at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra. Currently, my research interests focus on the military dimensions of Ancient Egypt, namely the New Kingdom in conjunction with the military projection of this kingdom into the Ancient Middle East. Presently, I teach History at Escola Secundária José Gomes Ferreira of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Benfica.
