Rui Humberto Pereira holds PhD in Computer Science, an MSc in Computer Science, and a BC in Computer Science. He is a Professor at the University of Maia and Invited Adjunct Teacher at the School of Accounting and Administration of Porto/Porto Polytechnic. He started his career as a professor at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISEP) in 1998, professor at the School of Accounting and Administration of Porto/Porto Polytechnic (from 1998) and Institute of Higher Studies of Fafe IESF (2020/21). He is a researcher at CEOS.PP - Centre for Organisational and LIACC - Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science of University of Porto. He develops several research activities in the scope of his main research interests, Databases, Machine Learning, the Internet of Things, Aspect-Oriented Software Development and Software Engineering, resulting in several scientific publications. He has several years of experience as a software development and IT services team leader.
