José G. Figueiredo is a a PhD student of Rehabilitation Sciences at University of Aveiro (UA), and a researcher at SPARK Lab (www.sparklabvieira.com), at Institute of Biomedicine (iBiMED), UA. His work has been focused on regenerative medicine, concluding his Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine at UA, with his thesis entitled "Potential spinal cord regeneration-associated genes", from which resulted a submited patent. More recently he has written a Review on osteo regeneration through the application of electromagnetic stimuli. José G. Figueiredo has also interest in neurophysiology associated to the dynamics of brain information transfer, and molecular biology, being these the focus of his PhD project.
