Bruno Faria holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Coimbra. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Informatics Engineering with a specialisation in Intelligent Systems at the University of Coimbra. He is a member of the Networks, Communications, and Security (NCS) group of the Centre for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC). His PhD research is focused on leveraging AI to enhance resilience in the Cloud-to-Thing continuum. Additionally, he has been a grant researcher at the Laboratory for Informatics and Systems (LIS) of Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) since 2021. So far, Bruno has published 2 papers, one of which was awarded the "Best Paper of the Conference". He is interested in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Edge Intelligence and Self-X.
