Laetitia Gaspar holds a Bachelor's degree in Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD, Portugal, 2010-2014), a Master's in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Coimbra (UC, Portugal, 2014-2016), and a PhD in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine from UC, Portugal (2018-2022). Specializing in sleep, chronobiology, aging, neuroscience, and gene therapy, Laetitia has actively contributed to various single and multicentric clinical research projects, collaborating with research institutes, hospitals, and industry partners in Europe and the United States (the latter with the support of Fulbright and The Luso-American Development Foundation). Laetitia is author/co-author of 11 publications and 17 abstracts in scientific journals (cumulative IF: 84.6); 52 oral and 44 panel communications; and 31 awards. Following the completion of her PhD, Laetitia transitioned to roles focusing on grant writing, project management, and coordination within the gene therapy domain. Currently, she serves as a Project Manager for the CInTech project, a multi-centric initiative aimed at establishing and empowering the first Technological Pole for Innovation, Translation, and Industrialization dedicated to complex injectable drugs in Portugal. Beyond her research and project management roles, Laetitia has actively engaged in teaching and tutoring, content development for educational purposes, science communication initiatives, and awareness campaigns.
