| 2023/09/10 - 2023/09/16 | Summer school on Coastal Geosystem Services' impact on society, focusing on barrier island resilience and salt marsh carbon
sequestration. The Ria Formosa in Tavira was an extensive outdoor laboratory for theoretical and hands-on activities. The
program included lectures by guest researchers and two days of fieldwork, covering sediment and vegetation collection, water
parameter acquisition, topographic and aerial photogrammetric surveys, bathymetry, and current characterization.
