D period (01/2009 - 03/2014), the research work was mainly based on the structural, photoluminescence and UV photoconductivity properties of different ZnO-based nanocomposites. In my PhD period, I have ten (10) published papers in which 8 first-authored papers in a good journal. In post-doctoral period (05/2014-present), the work is focused on oxide and perovskite materials based solar cells through improving the materials, structures, and interfaces which are crucial for increasing the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of solar cells. In the 1st part of the post-doc period (at CENIMAT|i3N), I had worked on ZnO/Cu2O based heterojunction solar cells prepared by spray-pyrolysis technique. In the period of my 2nd post-doctoral research work at XLIM, Université de Limoges/CNRS, France with Prof. Sylvain Vedraine, I have gained the experience on pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. The topic of the research project is "Perovskite materials as an interfacial layer of hybrid perovskite solar cells". In my 3rd post-doctoral period (under FCT post-doc fellowship) at CENIMAT|i3N, the work is divided into two tasks: Materials and interface engineering to develop high efficient perovskite solar cells, interfacial study in solar cells using AFM based techniques. Now, I am working on the 2D materials (MXene) based perovskite solar cells. In executing these research projects, I have acquired a range of skill on device fabrication, mainly with different organic-inorganic halide perovskite materials, plasmon induced perovskite materials and different oxide materials, their structural, morphological and electrical characterizations. Research highlights: My research work is diverse and interdisciplinary in nature with the main emphasis on exploring advanced materials and development of energy harvesting systems. I have acquired a range of skill on device fabrication mainly with different organic-inorganic halide perovskite materials and plasmon-enhanced light-matter interactions in designing of plasmon induced perovskite materials, their structural, morphological, electrical characterizations and inner device characterization using AFM based techniques. My research experience in the area of advanced materials development applied to photovoltaics (PV) and interface engineering for high-efficiency perovskite solar cells is unique. I have 22 research publications in international peer-reviewed journals including 1st and corresponding author publications in high impact journals like ACS Nano (IF=18.03), J. Mater. Chem. A (IF=14.51), ACS Appl. Energy Mater. (IF=6.959), Sol. Energy Mater Sol. Cells (IF=7.305), Nanoscale (IF=8.307), ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces (IF=10.38) with >1070 citations and h-index 17 (https://scholar.google.co.in/citations?user=xOVXabwAAAAJ&hl=en ). I have 3 conference proceedings and presented 3 oral and 5 posters in international conferences.
